Evaluation & Exams
We believe in Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system for the students, as per the GSEB guidelines. Student’s cognitive skills and co-curricular activities will be observed throughout the year for the overall development of the students. Thus it is mandatory for the students to attend the school regularly.
Semester system will be followed. There will be Two Semesters in one academic year.
- Ist Semester will be from June to October
- IInd Semester will be from November to April
At the end of each semester there will be written exam (Summative Assessment) from Semester wise Syllabus.
Ist Semester Syllabus will not be included in IInd Semester.
- Grades will be given in GK, PT, Computer, Drawing, Moral Science on the basis of marks obtained in both the Summative Assessments (SA 1 & SA 2)
- Grades will be given in Artificial Intelligence (STEM) on the basis of the practical assessment done in STEM LAB.
- After Completion of 2 to 3 chapters, Formative Assessment/ Unit Test {FA 1, FA 2, FA 3, FA 4 (oral)} will be conducted for all major subjects (English, Math, EVS, Science, Social Science, Hindi, Gujarati and Sanskrit)
- Summative Assessment / Terminal Exam (SA 1, SA 2) will be conducted at the end of each Semester.
- Internal Assessment marks will be included for Notebook, Homework, Projects, Discipline and Cleanliness on a regular basis.
- Students who are absent during Formative or Summative Assessment (FA and SA) will not be re-examined.
- Average result of Semester I and Semester II exam will be given in Semester II.
- Promotion will be granted on the basis of Gujarat State Education Board (GSEB) Rules.
Promotion Rules:
Std. 9:

In an academic year 3 exams will be conducted namely First Term, Second Term and Annual.

Every month unit tests of various subjects will be conducted with prior intimations.

First Term and Second Term Examinations will be of 50 Marks each subjects for all major subjects.

Annual Examination will be of 80 Marks each subjects for all major subjects.

Internal Evaluation will be of 20 marks each subjects based on Notebook, Class work, Homework, Assignments, Projects, Discipline and regularities.

Out of 200 marks students are required to score minimum 33% for promotion.

Grades will be given in Physical Education, Computer, Drawing and AI.
Std. 10:

In an academic year 3 exams will be conducted namely First Term, Preliminary Exam and Board Annual Exam.

Every month unit tests of various subjects will be conducted with prior intimations.

First Term, Preliminary Exam and Board Annual Examinations will be of 80 Marks each subjects for all major subjects.

GSEB will conduct Annual Examinations in the month of March for subjects except Computer / PT.

Internal Evaluation will be of 20 marks each subjects based on Notebook, Class work, Homework, Assignments, Projects, Discipline and regularities.

Students are required to score minimum 33% marks in both written as well as internal for promotion.

Grades will be given in Physical Education and Computer based on Theory Examination as well as practical Examination.
Std. 11:

In an academic year 3 exams will be conducted namely First Term, Second Term and Annual.

Every month unit tests of various subjects will be conducted with prior intimations.

First Term and Second Term Examinations will be of 50 Marks each subjects for all major subjects.

Annual Examination will be of 80 Marks each subjects for all major subjects.
